We three geeks including Cary the Metal Geek, Dave and George spent the weekend of September 19 and 20, 2015 at a convention put together by the folks from Comicpalooza called Houston FanFair. Geeky Fact of The Day #1

Did you know…The first studio to show interest in “A Nightmare on Elm Street” was The Walt Disney Company. They wanted Wes Craven to tone down the content to make it suitable for children and pre-teens. Craven declined then went on to make one of the highest grossing horror movies of all time with New Line Cinema.

Can you imagine how Freddy would have turned out as a Disney character? A glove of sporks? I bet he’d make one hell of a baritone during one of those happy Disney music montages. I don’t know, but what I do know is he makes for a pretty sick Vinylmation:
